216-acres, located adjacent to USFW National Wildlife Refuge and access trail to Dungeness Spit.

Picnicking &
Park Ameneties

Numerous DAY-USE picnic tables with fire pits and benches spread around the park, and a playground in Loop 2.
DUE TO COVID, DAY & OVERNIGHT USE OF GROUP CAMP w/ PICNIC SHELTER IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE.
(When available, it is by reservation only.)
Trails

1-mile long scenic bluff trail; several miles of hiking/biking trails; designated equestrian trail.

  • 66 forested campsites arranged in two loops

  • Eight (8) first come, first serve Hiker/Biker campsites (#A - #H)
  • Two (2) ADA accessible campsites (#17, #60)
  • One (1) extra vehicle per site - for $5 fee
  • Six (6) people per single campsite; Hiker/Biker sites one (1) person per site C.C.C. 23.03.040
Parking

Several Day-Use parking lots and an ADA accessible restroom available year-round.
Those visiting Dungeness Spit and Wildlife Refuge use at the northern USFW parking lot.
If USFW parking lot is full, come back when spots are available.
*DAY USE NOTE, Dungeness Spit hikers park in USFW parking lot.
An entrance fee required to access the USFW Dungeness Spit National Wildlife Refuge.
Bathrooms

Two (2) fully ADA accessible restrooms, with coin-operated showers available MAY - OCT.
One (1) fully ADA accessible restroom available NOV. - APR .
Water faucets can be found throughout the Park, limited access OCT - APR due to winterization.
Dump Station Paying DRA campers no fee.
Non-campers pay $10 use-fee.
PARK RULES

FULL PARK RULES & REGS

No alcoholic beverages or marijuana allowed in the park per State laws. (RCW 66.44.100 & RCW.69.50.445)

Pets must remain on a leash, no longer than eight (8) feet, at all times. Pet handlers must properly dispose pet waste in dumpster. (C.C.C. 23.03.070)

Persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to camp overnight. (C.C.C. 23.03.040)

 

Gate Hours*:

May - September OPEN 6am - 10pm
October - April OPEN 7am - 9pm
*LATE ARRIVALS If registered camper arrives afterhours, park in lot near gate and walk to campsite.
 

Camping Hours:
Check-OUT time 12 Noon (or sooner)
Check-IN time

There is no designated check-in time.
For first come, first served sites - if site is unoccupied, you may occupy site.
For reservable sites - if sign reads AVAILABLE, and site is unoccupied, you may occupy site.
For occupying a site you reserved - if unoccupied, you may occupy site;
if noon or after you may occupy site; previous occupant check out time is noon.
 

First Come, First Serve Camping Information:
Information & Fee Envelopes First come, first serve camping is done via self registration at the park.
Information and fee envelopes available at fee staion located at entrance of park.
Locate and occupy empty first come, first serve campsite (#1-#33). Return to fee station immediately to register,
fill out fee envelope and close proper fee. Remove the camping receipt off fee envelope and place on vehicle dashboard. Deposite the fee envelope into fee box.
Payment First come, first serve payment must be cash, check or money order. No Canadian checks, currency or coins.
Payment can be one night at a time, or for entire stay. No refunds available.

RESERVATION INFORMATION & MAPS:

RESERVATION SEASON Campground is open year-round, however reservations are accepted February - October for the current calendar year.
RESERVABLE SITES Campsites #33-66 are the sited that can be reserved during the February 1 - October 31 timeframe.
(Reservation System opens January 1 of same calendar year.)
ALL campsites first come, first serve November 1 - January 31
DUE TO COVID, GROUP CAMPSITE CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE(When it is available, this site allows from 15 to 50 max visitors; reservable Feb 1 - Oct 31.)

Bring copy of reservation receipt with you to park.
