Files and Downloading

We distribute many documents and information on our website in Portable Document Format (PDF). PDF files can be viewed on almost any computer with Adobe's free Adobe Reader application. Adobe Reader comes pre-installed on most computers and allows you to view and print PDF files. Most PDF files on our website are small and can be opened or downloaded quickly. Some of the larger PDF files take longer to open or download, especially if you are using a dial-up internet connectionDial-up Internet is a form of Internet access using a modem connected to a telephone line to dial into an Internet service provider (ISP) to establish a modem-to-modem link, which is then used to route Internet Protocol packets between the user's equipment and hosts. This connection is much slower than DSL or broadband connections. Dial-up is more common in rural areas..

If you have trouble opening and viewing our PDF files, try the latest version of Adobe Reader.

MP3 audio

We distribute some files in MP3 audio format, such as meeting recordings. These files can sometimes be up to 50MB in size and take several minutes to download even with DSL or broadband connections. It might not be possible to download audio when using a dial-up internet connection.
