- 303D Listings – Dungeness River has instream flow violations. Matriotti Creek has fecal coliform violations and is currently part of a WA Dept. of Ecology Water Clean-up Study to address fecal coliform bacteria inputs.
Under the federal Clean Water Act, section 303(d), every two years Washington State has to submit to the US Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) a list of surface water bodies that fall short of water quality standards and are not expected to improve within the next two years.
