ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT - Public Works Road Division Salary: $18.41 to $22.43/hour Closes: 5/28/2008 at 4:30 pm Full-time (37.5/hours per week), union eligible position with benefits. Accumulate financial data from source documents and verify for accuracy. Prepare and maintain financial data for County Road funds by posting to general ledger, special ledgers and other fiscal records to reflect accurate accounting and distribution of income and expenses to appropriate accounts. Reconcile accounts and adjust irregularities. Process employee time records for payroll distribution. Audit each pay record for accuracy in pay rate, job costing, account coding, and accurate posting to the Road Division's accounting system. Audit invoices for timely and accurate payment of Road Division expenditures.
DEPUTY PROSECUTOR - I - Prosecutor's Office Salary: $ 4,290.63 to 5,227.73/month DOQ Open Until Filled Full-time, union eligible position with benefits. To carry out criminal and civil legal assignments under direction of higher level management staff; prosecute or defend assigned criminal and civil actions with emphasis in assigned area. accomplish legal research as required; provide legal counsel to elected and appointed officials, employees and law enforcement; and to perform related duties as assigned. This is the first level into the professional Deputy Prosecutor series. This class is distinguished from the Deputy Prosecutor II based on the legal duties assigned to positions within the series. Positions at this level perform a significant portion of the work assigned to the journey level; however, the nature and impact of legal case assignments is not as complex as those assigned to higher level classifications.
DEPUTY PROSECUTOR - II - Prosecutor's Office Salary: $4,736.05 to $5,770.43/month DOQ Open Until Filled Full-time, union eligible position with benefits. To carry out criminal and civil legal assignments under direction of higher level management staff; prosecute or defend assigned criminal and civil actions with emphasis in assigned area. accomplish legal research as required; provide legal counsel to elected and appointed officials, employees and law enforcement; and to perform related duties as assigned. Must be able to operate independently and handle all parts of criminal caseload from screening through appeals. This class is distinguished from the Deputy Prosecutor III in that the latter possesses a specialized functional or technical expertise within the area of assignment.
DEPUTY PROSECUTOR - III - Prosecutor's Office Salary: $5,492.38 to $6,691.92/month DOQ Open Until Filled Full-time, union eligible position with benefits. To carry out criminal and civil legal assignments under direction of higher level management staff; prosecute or defend assigned criminal and civil actions with emphasis in assigned area. Accomplish legal research as required; provide legal counsel to elected and appointed officials, employees and law enforcement; and to perform related duties as assigned. Applicants must have extensive experience in prosecuting violations of the criminal law from receipt of investigation through the appeal process. In addition to the above, applicants must have experience prosecuting limited civil actions including, but not limited to, forfeiture proceedings. Experience performing the duties of a deputy coroner is beneficial but is not required. |
