The Treasurer's Office is responsible as the custodian of all funds for the county and it's governmental subdivisions. This includes the receipting and disbursing of the general property tax collections for cities, schools and other units of local government and assessments. The major responsibility of the County Treasurer are:
- Receipt of funds
- Collection of taxes
- Disbursement of funds
- Investment of funds
- Tax foreclosures
- Excise tax
- Mobile Home move permits
- Surplus sales
- Tax title sales
