The Department of Health and Human Services has a broad range of responsibilities which contribute to the well-being for citizens in Clallam County. The Department participates in numerous community groups which promote healthy choices, protect health, promote safety and provides services for the people of the County. Several activities help individuals and families, while others promote the well-being of large groups of people.

Environmental Health
Conducts inspections and issues permits for food service, on-site water and sewage, test public water supplies, and administers solid waste, hazardous waste, and related programs.
