About the Superior Court Clerk |

Clerk´s Office Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Clallam County Superior Court Clerk's Office is located in Port Angeles, the county seat. The Superior Court Clerk's Office primary responsibility is to file and index all records filed for the Clallam County Superior Courts and Family Court. We have daily Ex Parte Hearings at 1:00 p.m. with a 12:30 p.m. filing deadline.
Friday Civil & Criminal motion calendars rotate between Judge's George Wood, Ken Williams & S Brooke Taylor. See Trial/Judges Scheduling for which Judge will be on the bench on a specific date & time. (Note the rotation of judges is still in the experimental stage)
Commissioner W Brent Basden Civil Motion calendar is every Friday at 9:00 a.m. for adoptions and domestic relations and 1:30 p.m. for paternity cases.
Criminal hearings for new cases are heard daily at 1:00 p.m. The Clerk's office will not know which cases will be heard until 11:45 a.m. on the day of the hearing. |

If you are selected for Superior Court Jury duty, your term will be two weeks. Prospective jurors should call our recorded jury message telephone the evening prior to their jury term at (360) 417-2450 for the latest information about cases they may be required to serve as jurors. State law mandates that jurors are selected from voter registration and driver's license and identicard holders.
