Clallam County is undertaking a master planning process for the 216-acre Dungeness Recreation Area. Although the Park enjoys a unique location and well-maintained facilities, many factors make this an ideal time to develop a master plan for the future of the Park in the recreational context of the Olympic Peninsula.

The Parks Advisory Board will be hold their next meeting on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at the Clallam County Courthouse, in the County Commissioners meeting room beginning at 5:30 p.m. The after-hours entrance to the meeting room is approximately 50 feet west of the main Courthouse entrance. The Board is expected to make a recommendation on the proposed Master Plan. There will be no verbal or written public comments, on the Master Plan, taken during this meeting.
