Panorama Vista

Panorama Vista County Park was established in 1976. A short walk, down a gradual grade, brings you to a three mile stretch of tidelands owned by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources.  The parcel runs from the end of Travis Spit on Sequim Bay, extending to the mid-point of Thompson Lagoon, to the east.

Since 1984, the County Parks Department has established and maintained this public beach access. Traveling on East Sequim Bay Road, turn right on to Panorama Boulevard.  Driving to the end of the road, turn right on Buck Loop Road.  A small parking area is situated at the intersection of Buck Loop Road and Deer Court, in the Panorama Vista Subdivision, some 25 miles east of Port Angeles.

Breathe deep the salt-laden air and take in the views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Protection Island and if you're lucky enough to have the proper weather, Mt. Baker.  The cobblestone shoreline is inviting for rock hounds, beach combers, and bird watching enthusiasts.
