Clallam County Fair Seeks Nominations for 2019 Farm Family of the Year

The Clallam County Fair in conjunction with the celebration of the 100th county fair in 2019, invites the public to submit nominations for the Farm Family of the Year Award. Farms may enter and nominate themselves as well. The award will be presented at the Clallam County Fair, August 15, 2019. This award, with our sponsor Agnew Grocery Store, wishes to honor a Clallam County Farm Family that epitomizes the spirit of the industry, and to show appreciation for hardworking Clallam County families committed to agriculture and aquaculture.

The selection of the Farm Family will be determined by an outside source. Award presentation will be August 15, 2019. The Farm Family will be notified of place and time.

Nominations should include details about the family and how they fulfill the following criteria:
Production of quality Clallam County grown products (not based on quantity)
Community involvement (civic organizations, school, sports)
Involvement in agriculture industry organizations (local, state, and federal)
Overall farm family image, farming history, and unique or special production

Nominations are due by July 1, 2019 and can be submitted by mail, email, or fax to:
