SCHOOL & PLAYGROUND SAFETY
The Clallam County School Safety Program responds to and investigates all reports of illness and potential safety hazards occurring in all public and private schools (kindergarten through high school) in Clallam County according to the Washington Administrative Code (WAC).
These reports involve issues such as air quality, playground safety and food safety. Environmental Health Specialists review plans of all new and remodeled school sites and provide a safety inspection upon request.
