APPRAISAL ASSISTANT – Assessor's Office
Salary:  $17.60/hour (2009)

Full-time (37.5 hours per week), union eligible position with benefits. This position performs field inspections of new and existing residential or commercial structures, and assists in the accumulation and processing of other property data as assigned, for the purpose of establishing fair market values upon which property taxes will be assessed. Additionally, it performs at an intermediate level as a utility person in technical support and clerical work related to the appraisal and assessment of real property, and in the administration of various assessment programs.

Currently, we have no Deputy Sheriff or Juvenile Corrections positions available, but Clallam County continuously tests for Juvenile Corrections Officers (Full-time, $17.61 to 21.45/hour; w/ benefits), Adult Corrections Officers (Part-time and Full-time; $19.92 to $24.27/hour; w/benefits), and Deputy Sheriffs (Full-time, $23.34 to $30.10/hour w/benefits).  To find out about the testing process please click here.
