DANNY VERNON - ELVIS

With the voice, look, and passion of the twentieth century icon, Danny Vernon strives to re-capture Elvis Presley's appeal to an ever-growing audienceDanny creates a show that holds the excitement of the King on stage throughout various stages in his career. He shows respect and supports the integrity of the man and his music.  He enjoys performing all 3 decades of Elvis' career, including the "recklessly abandoned" hillbilly cat 50's, the sleek 60's movie years including the Comeback Special, and the sexy 70's jumpsuit years. Be there Thursday evening, this is a show you can´t miss.

 

DESPERADO

Chris Ward´s  Desperado Tribute to the Eagles has musically demonstrated the fact that imitation is the highest form of flattery with their tribute to the Eagles.  Come out Friday night to hear the 1970s hits including Hotel California, Take It Easy, and Lyin´ Eyes.  Join us for a little nostalgia and a whole lot of rockin´ from this Western Washington band.

 

BULLET CREEK

Based out of Snohomish County, Bullet Creek plays a rockin brand of original and cover music. Their sound is a blend ranging from Keith Urban to Johnny Cash. The six-member band has opened for many well known artists. The two Saturday night shows will be the only opportunity to catch this talented group.

 

ROYALTY CORONATION

The Clallam County Fair Royalty Coronation is  on the Wilder Stage.  Queen Marissa Wilson and Princess Stephanie Lindquist reigns will be coming to an end.  Three local girls - Brooklyn Bauer, Katelyn Noard, and Ruby Jackson - are vying for the royalty crown and have been busy this Spring and Summer with fundraising and marketing for the County Fair.  Come on out and celebrate with them Thursday at 7:00 pm.

 

BRIAN LEDBETTER MAGIC

 

Brian Ledbetter Magic 

Forget about coat-tails, top hats, and bunny rabbits.  This young, hip performer presents thrilling magic with a universally appealing contemporary flair.  Brian Ledbetter's extensive background in theater has benefitted his magic, honing it to a seldom reached level of perfection.  His shows are in high demand as a result of being a proven crowd-pleaser.  You have got to see one of his shows; it'll leave you scratching your head in amazement and asking yourself how he does it.  Check the Entertainment Calendar for starting times and stage locations.

Born outof friendship and youthful exuberance, Abby Mae and the Homeschool Boys combines the timeless traditions of `Ol´ Timey music with Gaelic, Blues, and Gospel.  The local band has been wowing packed audiences wherever they play.  Friday night on the Sunny Farms Stage expect the foot-stompin´ sound that makes them so distinctive and entertaining.

Terry Holder is a gifted singer/songwriter that sings with "a voice to break your heart". "Am I Here Is This Me" was the very first song Terry wrote. Describing the vulnerable way she was feeling after raising a family and losing her mother.  She stood at the serendipitous cross roads that led her to the unexpected gift of songwriting and has never looked back. Consisting of three seasoned locals, All About Me has played just about every type of music over the years.  They play an eclectic mix of songs from acoustic rock to ballads, with an occasional classic in the mix as well. These three really show off their talent and versatility in what they do.  It's all about the music! Be sure to stop by the Sunny Farms stage on Sat. to catch this trio.

One of the newest bands on the North Olympic Peninsula, String Theory plays an eclectic mix of recent hits and golden oldies.  The band members are all locals, with many years of performance experience between them.  Come out Friday night for both of their shows. Your ears will be delighted with the sweet sounds of String Theory.

Energize your spirit on Saturday, noon, with the Dancing Grandmas.  These zesty women captivate audiences with powerful, colorful Gypsy and Silk Road stories, rhythms, and spirited dances.

Tom Taylor is a Christian singer/songwriter, guitarist, and bassist.  He began composing original music in 2005.  He and his wife collaborate on the lyrics of most of his songs.  Don´t miss Tom´s spiritual performance.

 

 

HOWLY SLIM

Howly Slim has written somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 songs over the past 30 years, covering topics such as trains, cities, towns, work, good love, bad love, love gone wrong, heartaches, justice, injustice, nostalgia, fantasy, reality, negativity, hopefulness, good, evil, politics etc.  Come join Howly Slim and his esteemed musicians and old friends playing their original island/swing music.

 

 

WHITE CRANE
MARTIAL ARTS

Master R.A. Nicholls has a long list of accomplishments in his martial arts history.  These experiences are the background from which he uses to teach his pupils at the White Crane Martial Arts facility.  He and his students will exhibit their martial arts craft on Thursday.  You'll get a kick out of watching these talented locals, so arrive on the grounds early to catch their show.

 

NAKI´I HAWAIIAN MUSIC

Naki´i Hawaiian Music brings to mind the relaxed atmosphere of the Hawaiian Islands and the powerful traditions of the native culture. Friday´s show is another "can't miss" performance in a long list to be found at this year's County Fair.

 

SWEET ADELINES

 

Sweet Adelines 

The Grand Olympics Chorus is a group of lively, friendly women from diverse backgrounds and interests that come together to share their love and enjoyment in singing in a cappella harmony, barbershop style.  And their passion in the style shows with their tremendous performance.  They are a chapter of Sweet Adelines International.  Put your hands together for these lovely ladies with lilting larynxes.

 

OLYMPIC PENINSULA MEN´S CHORUS

 

Oly Pen Men's Chorus 

Due to their outstanding performance last year and terrific public comments on the group, the Olympic Peninsula Men's Chorus is back this year to wow the audience with their barbershop-style harmonics.  As the Juan de Fuca Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, they will knock your socks off with old time favorites.  Hurry in to get a front row seat for this Saturday afternoon show.

 

LUCK OF THE DRAW

A crowd favorite for years, Luck of the Draw is back to entertain fair-goers.  This four member band knows how to do bluegrass music right.  As the band begins to play, your toes won´t be able to help themselves from tapping along.
